Youxi Story was founded in 2012 as a platform for bringing video game stories and news from China to an English-speaking audience in the West. The goal is to generate interest and inform Western audiences about the video game industry and community in China. This includes the gamers, the games, esports, events, and politics.
I believe that a passion for video games and the drive to find community can overcome the barriers that exist between the gaming communities of China and the West– barriers of culture, language, and the digital barrier of the Great Firewall. Youxi Story is a means to bring down those barriers, bringing information, stories, and news from China to consumers, creators, developers, and fans in the West.
